I hand raise all of my Shorkie puppies and Shichon puppies . My Nursery is usually full of Shorkie puppies, teacup Shorkies, tiny Shorkies, all running around and playing with toys and doing what Shorkie puppies love to do . When Shorkie and Shichon playtime is over, Shorkies and Shichons all have their play pens to sleep in. That is for the Shorkie safety and protection of them (Shorkies) and you. Shorkies are very inquisitive and love to investigate everything. So for Shorkie protection they need a place where they can be Shorkie safe. You can't watch them (Shorkie) every Shorkie minute of every single Shorkie day. I suggest a baby (Shorkie) play pen (mesh) you can find them at stores such as Wal-Mart , or even at garage sales.I use Exercise pens for dogs make great in home play pens also.
